Online video for search engine rankings

Shaun here.

Online video (youtube, metacafe, etc) shows up really high in the search engine rankings.

We are getting really excited about online video and the possibilities it provides. We recently posted a video on YouTube.com for a client. It got 150 views in 2 weeks with no other promotion! It has had over 600 views to date.

You can have a link to the web site in the description and the videos are also posted on the web site which makes it "stickier" and more fun to visit.

The videos don't have to be fancy. They can be of you sitting at your desk. No big deal.

Let us know if we can help. We have done a few for our customers.

Here are some examples:

We did a whole series of training videos in conjunction with the Mission Inn Foundation for Greg at http://www.pro-fitness-health

Take care and have fun marketing!

Best traffic generation technique I have ever seen!

Shaun here. I just had to share this with you.

This is probably one of the easiest, smartest ways I've ever
seen to get rankings, traffic, leads and sales.

I am going to start using it immediately with some of
my clients.

http://tinyurl.com/6pfbxq

It's so brilliant simple you will get it immediately.

If you're like me, you'll ask yourself, "Why didn't I think
of that?"

This video will show you how to create an online campaign
that DOMINATES search engines and generates massive
traffic and leads fast, easy and cheap.

I know that sounds too good to be true, but after you watch
the video, you will see what I mean.

You'll be able to turn any prospect into a buyer
without coming across like a salesperson.

It's called: "The 10x10x4 Market Domination Formula..."

Did I mention it's FREE?

http://tinyurl.com/6pfbxq

Enjoy,

Shaun Ellsworth

P.S. Mike, the guy who made this, told me he's going start
selling this video for a couple hundred bucks.

So check it out now while you can still get it for free:

http://tinyurl.com/6pfbxq

P.P.S. Will you send this to anyone you know who needs
ranking, traffic and leads for their web site?

Frank Kern is giving away Mass Control information

I am a huge Frank Kern fan. Everything he touches turns to gold. I paid $2000 for his First Mass Control product (It was worth every penny) and now he is giving away a lot of that information for FREE. In DVDs and workbooks! What's up with that!?

I can't believe I haven't posted anything since I was at Mass Control in San Diego. Time flies, doesn't it? Anyway, watch this video now:
http://www.FrankKernGiveaway.com

It's the latest video from Frank and it might be the coolest marketing video you've ever seen. I mean it starts out with Frank playing blues on a slide guitar. Who knew Frank played guitar? Seriously.

No need to opt in or anything. Frank is cool like that. However, if you want to know when more free content is coming, you can sign up on the site to get notifications from Frank.

In this video, Frank goes over a simple 3-step process that shows you how ANYONE can sell stuff ...to anybody. So easy it blew my mind. It was one of those "Now why didn't I think of that?" moments.

Plus he actually shows you real case studies where he's used this 3-step process ...and shows you exactly what to do so you can do it too. Frank always gives away his best stuff. It was that way during the Mass Control launch too.

My favorite one is where he used it to create a $648,000.00 per year business in 10 MINUTES. I was there when it happened. Wow.

Seriously - this is good. No cost, no shenanigans - just good content from Frank as usual.

Watch it now. You know how crazy and temperamental Kern is ... he could take it down at any minute:

http://www.FrankKernGiveaway.com

Enjoy :-)

Shaun Ellsworth

P.S. Remember, you can get on his list there as well. That's totally optional, but you might want to do it. I know he is giving away free marketing videos away all week.

Frank is famous for shutting off access to his list. In fact, he went almost four years without letting anyone new subscribe.

I know - weird - but you can join it here if you want.

Either way, watch the video. It's awesome.

Hey. We finally got a portfolio page up. Seems like it has taken a while, but now it is posted. You can see our portfolio here.

Barry and I sat down today and decided our goals for the rest of the fiscal year. we are going to focus on our 20 page keyword focused content based sites. There are 20-page site that we create from the ground up using 500-1000 search terms. The ones we have done so far have been fantastic. Our clients love them.

Check out our portfolio here and see what we have been doing.

Have a great day!

Frank Kern's Mass Control Rocks!

Just got back from Frank Kerns mass Control Event that was helld at the hard Rock Hotel April 19th and 20th. It was fantastic. I learned so much that will take our business to the next level. The amount of brain power (even after all the alcohol) and money and marketing chops on stage was mind boggling.

I was running around with my little disposable camera (my digital one was recently stolen), shooting one-handed pictures with all the speakers. I will post them as soon as I "get them back." (Remember one-hour photo? That used to be fast!)

Anyway, it was a wild ride! Met great people from all over US and the world; a nice couple from the UK, an Aussie living in Japan, a guy from Arizona who spends most of his time adventuring in Latin America. Great crowd.

It gave Barry (business partner) and I the kick in the pants to get our act together. During the next several months, we won't be soliciting business, but will be putting our collective knowledge together into an "Internet Marketing for Small Business" home study course.

Small business owners have small budgets, but every small business really needs to be online. There should be no question about that. this home study course will address that for small business owners that want to do it themselves to save money.

So, we are putting together a step-by-step "This is how you market your small business on the internet" with videos and everything. We should have it ready in the next couple of months. If you want to hear about it as we are working on it, visit our website and join one of the lists there. We don't have a specific list set up yet.

This is really hush hush because we don't want everyone clamoring for the product before it is done. We want to be able to take our time and do it right.

Ciao, and I will have those pictures up in a day or two. ;-)

Seminar went great!

We had our very first internet marketing seminar last Thursday evening. It was good. We had 18 new people there and I gave them my 2 hour seminar in an hour and a half. I find I talk way too fast, but I have so much to say and people need to hear it. the event was catered and the food was good.

We video taped the event and only got about half of the video releases so we might have to blur people's faces out. I don't know about the legalities of that. I guess I should check.

I plan to make the video available online. You will need to check back. Wait, the best way to do this would be to get on our Event VIP list. that way we will tell you when we are going to release it. Just go to our event page and sign up. We will let you know when the video gets posted.

FREE Internet Marketing Seminar

On April 3, 2008, we are presenting a free internet marketing seminar. It is our first.

I figure if we show enough people that we know what we are talking about, and give great content, even if we tell them everything they need to know about blogging and using squidoo and building links, maybe they will realize how much work it is and hire the professionals (us).

If you are reading this and live in Southern California, you are welcome to attend, I just need you to RSVP to Barry at (951) 212-4080. Scarcity, scarcity - but really, there are only 58 seats. Grab one now!

You can find out more information and join our VIP list here:

CHARO 2008 Business EXPO

Yesterday Barry and I were at the CHARO 2008 Business EXPO. Barry was on a marketing panel and that gave us a lot of exposure. People kept dropping by our booth all day and we actually got several leads. All in all, it was a very good day and I got out of the house and out from behind my computer. Rock on!

Is Traditional Marketing Dead?

Gaping Void's Hugh McCleod discusses social objects and how social gestures beget social objects. Traditional marketing and "messages" are on their way out. It is all about the relationship now. Watch this interview on FastCompany.TV here.

AngryJournalist.com - Know your market

There is a new site, recently launched called AngryJournalist.com.

It is a place a guy named Kiyoshi Martinez set up for Journalists to vent their anger and frustration anonymously and to the whole world. I worked in editorial graphics at a newspaper for 7 years. I know what these guys are talking about.

My personal angst has faded, but talk about a great way to get into the minds of the people you are sending your press releases to, hoping to get published. They are people just like us. We should treat them that way. Be reasonable. Do most of the work for them. Make your story a no-brainer to print. Make it exciting and newsworthy. We hear these things all the time, but angryjournalist.com really brings the point home.

What are we supposed to do? Know our market? They are our market when we are trying to get information about our company published. Let's understand them, step in their shoes and speak to them like they should be spoken to. They are the keepers of the gate. How are you going to get in?

Two new pages on the ol' web site

I just wanted to let you know that we have just posted two new pages on our web site. I thought they might be of interest to you. They are both about Great ways to market your business on the internet.

Some strategies I refer to as "Ninja" because they are stealth strategies. But these are bedrock strategies. I think of these and I see a solid granite bank. Some business build their whole online presence around these strategies.

They are Link building:

http://www.internet-marketing-4-small-business.com/link-building.html

And Marketing through article distribution:

You can always contact me with any questions here.

We'll talk soon,

Frank Kern's Mass Control Fiasco

Did I say "Fiasco?" I am sorry. I meant "Bonanza." Frank Kern's Mass Control Bonanza.

I am so late writing about this. It has been over a month since I started the course and it is absolutely fantastic. A gentleman (read: surfer dude that tries to look lazy, but I know he is working his butt off) named Frank Kern launched a class in early February. He is the guy behind the stompernet launch and several others including pipeline profits. They all made over a million dollars within the first week of launching. I watched stompernet happen and was captivated. It was so good, but I didn't have a penny to buy that class.

When I heard that Frank was the guy behind the stompernet launch, I knew I just had to know what he knows and I had to get the course. Luckily, I had the cash this time to get it. (I still had to take the three payment option). Frank broke the class down into 4 modules that were taught over 4 weeks. There is a mountain of content and he is teaching things I have never heard before. Usually with stuff like this, you get recycled information that has been around forever, but not this time.

Mass Control is extremely useful. I haven't made any money directly from it yet, but my mailing list is growing, my web site functions better, I am working on a digital product - several actually, and I have helped a few of our clients improve their campaigns using information I have learned from Frank. I am much more confident when I am making presentations, now because I have my "Character" and "Story" together. So, I guess I have made money from what I have learned because my advice to my clients is better and they pay me. Cool.

I am available to consult and assist anyone that needs help with their online marketing. I have a "4-day cashflow machine" that you might have heard of from other bloggers. It has made thousands of dollars for, I don't know, 30-40 people since the start of the course (and they are just getting a small percentage of the money being generated). If you have an interest list and you sell a product that you could discount in order to make a truck load of sales in 4 days, contact me. You can use the contact form on our web site.

Can dinosaur industries live in the digital age?

This morning Seth Godin posted a great blog about reforming the music industry or any other dinosaur industry.

This is the digital age. The rules have changed. The only way anyone can win is by knowing the new rules.

Take a look at Seth's blog. Good stuff. I have some more of Seth's e-books posted here.

How do you rank?

I checked my stats today and was pleasantly surprised. Our first client's web site has been online for 20 days. He already ranks #1 on Google for "Powder coating Redlands" and for several other communities they serve. He is on the first page of Google for a handful of other powder coating keywords. This stuff really works.

As a web designer, I would never tell my clients that I would guarantee placement on the search engines. I always suggested putting their url on everything they printed because "the small guy doesn't have a chance to show up well in the search results." Well, things have changed.

I spent the past two years learning SEO and internet marketing and now I am seeing the fruits of those labors. Sorry to go on and on about this, but it really is exciting.

Oh, and by the way, if anyone needs help getting found on the internet, IdeaBox can help.

For the record, my client's site is www.fivestarpowdercoating.com

Do you Squidoo?

I have been meaning to create a Squidoo lens for some time now, so I used a portion of my New Year's Day to do it.

I had just written an article for my website about Squidoo and thought it would be a great idea to actually have a lens to show people that I know what I am talking about and I actually do what I say.

So now, several hours later, I can proudly say, "I am a squidoo lensmaster."

It is supposed to drive insane amounts of traffic to your real web site if you set it up right, so I will have to sit back and see if that is what happens.

You can see my Squidoo lens here.

Oh, and Happy New Year!
